Dear Neighbor, We have owned Skipper's for 26 years. During that time, we have served up hundreds of meals. We love serving you and we love our Village. We want to see it flourish. We are proposing to construct 11 apartments on top of our buildings on the corner of Main Street and Woodbine Avenue. We would offer 5 apartments on each floor. We would also have a rooftop apartment for ourselves, as we are "empty nesters". We feel strongly that this beautiful building designed by local architect, Alex Latham, will enhance our Village. We plan to eliminate the Sea Shanty as a restaurant. This will ease our parking problems considerably, as well as eliminating "tons of garbage". In addition, the apartment dwellers will add to economic vitality of the donwtown area by visiting the shops and eateries. We hope you will take a careful look at our plans and support our renovation (addition). Join us at the Zoning Board Meeting April 28th at 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall.
